The Specialty Hospital of Washington and its Nursing Center are located in the historic Capitol Hill residential district of Washington, DC at 700 Constitution Avenue, NE. SHW-Capitol Hill also operates a satellite LTACH on the campus of United Medical Center, located at 1310 Southern Avenue in Washington.  Known as SHW-UMC LTACH, its located on the 5th floor of UMC and is a separately licensed and accredited 'hospital within a hospital' on the UMC campus. Our main entrance is located on the 7th Street side of the building, and another entrance is available by the public parking lot located off “C” street.

Parking
Visitor parking is available for free in the back lot which is entered through “C” Street NE. Limited street parking is available with
2 hour time limits.

Public Transportation
