Admissions

The Admissions Department at The Specialty Hospital of Washington is happy to assist you with making a referral for admission to our facilities. We can be reached Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm at
(202) 574-5780.

Once a referral is made, one of our Clinical Liaisons will visit to perform a face-to-face assessment and confirm the patient is appropriate for admission to our Hospitals or Nursing Centers.

Please call us (202-574-5780) to schedule a visit to any of our facilities. We would be more than happy to arrange a tour and can even accommodate a tour on weekends and after normal office hours if needed.

Exemption to the Discrimination Act

The Specialty Hospital of Washington is a long term acute care hospital and can only treat patients over the age of 18 years old. The Hospital does not have a pediatric unit or pediatric trained physician or staff and is not licensed for pediatric services.
