SHW CAPITOL HILL LONG TERM ACUTE CARE HOSPITAL

WOUND CARE NURSE 


Coordinates treatment to provide comprehensive wound assessments and plan of care including goals, implementation, evaluation of outcomes for patients.

  • Full-Time
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.   BSN Degree preferred. 
  • Minimum 1 year Med/Surg or rehabilitation experience
  • Knowledge of prinicipals of infection control and comphrehensive wound management. 
  • Current DC RN license  
  • BLS required
  • Current ACLS or within 6 months of hire

DIRECTOR, QUALITY IMPROVEMENT/RISK MANAGEMENT 


      Establishes implements, facilitates, and coordinates the ongoing, hospital-wide Quality Improvement Program to assure compliance with Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) and other healthcare accrediting standards.  Responsible for Quality Improvement, Risk Management programs targeted to enhance the quality of patient care consistent with hospital policies.  Also responsible for Case Management/Utilization Review.

  • RN - BSN required
  • Licensed in DC
  • 3-5 years quality, risk and case managment in an acute care setting
  • BLS required


REGISTERED NURSE - Critical Care 


Provides professional nursing care to patients utilizing the nursing process, supervises licensed and unlicensed nursing personnel, and performs other duties as assigned.

  • Full-Time, Part-Time & PRN
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.   BSN Degree preferred. 
  • Current DC RN license  
  • BLS required
  • Current ACLS or within 6 months of hire

REGISTERED NURSE - Medical/Surgical 


Provides professional nursing care to patients utilizing the nursing process, supervises licensed and unlicensed nursing personnel, and performs other duties as assigned.

  • Full-Time, Part-Time & PRN
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.   BSN Degree preferred. 
  • Current DC RN license  
  • BLS required

PCT

Performs various patient care activities and related non-licensed services necessary in caring for the personal safety and comfort of the patient.

  •  Experience as a PCT in an acute care setting, critical care tech, med-surg tech or military experience as a corpman/medic.
  • BLS required

SOCIAL WORKER (LICSW)

Directs and coordinates the integration of Social Services functions into the patient care, discharge, and home planning processes with other hospital departments, external organizations, agencies and healthcare facilities.

  •  Licensed Social Worker in DC. 
  • Minimum of 3 years acute care experience including discharge planning.
  • BLS required.

DIRECTOR, CASE MANAGEMENT

Assist in the collaboration, development, implementation, revision and reporting of case management program.

  •  Licensed RN in DC. 
  • Minimum of 2 years clinical experience in a specialty area.
  • Heathcare operational experience,
  • Knowledge of healthcare financial systems.
  • Management/Supervisory experience.
