SHW’s Respiratory Care Laboratory Receives Accreditation

The Accreditation Committee of the College of American Pathologists (CAP) awarded accreditation to the Specialty Hospital of Washington Capitol Hill’s Respiratory Care Laboratory based on the results of a recent onsite inspection.

The federal government recognizes the CAP Laboratory Accreditation Program as being equal to or more stringent than the government’s own inspection program. SHW’s Respiratory Laboratory is now one of the 7,000 CAP accredited laboratories worldwide.
